![]() Diamond Dallas PageIt may seem a bit backwards, but Diamond Dallas Page began his career as a manager, then color commentator, before stepping in the ring as a grappler. He didn't make his pro debut until 1991. Things turned out well for Page. He had a sucsessful run in WCW, married Playboy model Kimberly Page, who later became a Nitro Girl. I like seeing him in the WWF, but I want to see the Diamond Doll(Kimberly)! Gurrrrr baby, VERY Gurrrrr! Kimberly is his wife and she holds a masters degree in advertising from Northwestern University(WOW, brains and FANTASTIC beauty!) After WCW was sold to WWF, Page made a surprise debut in the World Wrestling Federation. He had a good run in the WWF untill a neck injury forced him into retirement. Real name is Paige Falkenberg. Great wrestler, manager(remember the diamond mine?) and former world champion.

![]() Pat PattersonDebuting in his hometown of Montreal in his teens, he became one of the biggest names in wrestling in the sixties and seventies. NWA World Champion Dory Funk Jr. called Patterson's tag team with Crippler Ray Stevens "The greatest of the Sixties" and they backed it up with NWA and AWA World Tag Title reigns. Patterson also won the U.S. title on numerous occasions. In 1979, he became the first WWF Intercontinental champion. Patterson was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame in 1996 and received a plaque that night from fellow Canadian Bret 'The Hit Man' Hart.

Flyin' Brian PillmanBrian was born with throat cancer, he needed over 3 dozen operations to survive. He attended Ohio University and played briefly for the Cincinatti Bengals. He trained in the famous Hart family "Dungeon" with Stu Hart and the other Hart brothers. He began his wrestling career in Stu Hart's promotion Calgary Stampede Wrestling in 1986 where he would win The Stampede International Tag Team Titles twice with Bruce Hart in 1987. He then went on to the NWA where he won the tag titles with Tom Zenk in 1990 by beating The Fabulous Freebirds. He won the WCW Light Heavyweight Title from Ricky Morton in 1991 then again in 1992 from Jushin Thunder Liger. The pinnacle of his success was when he joined Steve Austin to form The Hollywood Blondes. They dominated the tag scene and won the Titles in 1993 by defeating Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and "The Franchise" Shane Douglas. But all good things come to an end and Brians life started and ended with tragedy. In 1986, he had a near fatal accident that shattered his ankle and effectively ended his career. Remember him in WCW as the masked Yellow Dog? Brian was last seen alive at 10.45 pm following a house show in St. Paul, MN. Police were asked to search his hotel room after Brian failed to make the plane for the Pay Per View. They discovered his body at 1.09pm in his motel room at the Budgetal Inn, Bloomington, MN. After an autopsy, it was found that Brian died from congenital heart disease. His heart was apparently 75% diseased which led to a heart attack.
![]() Rowdy Roddy PipperReal name is Rod George Toombs and he is an Icon in wrestling. Roddy won the Golden Gloves in boxing at age 15. He is from Saskatoon. The lead heel in a few NWA territories who jumped to the WWF and became its second biggest star behind only Hulk Hogan during its expansion into a national promotion. Interviews were what made him a star, although he initially used a very irritating high-pitched squeal to cover up the fact that he didn't have even a hint of a Scottish accent (he really can play the bagpipes, though). Never a technical wrestler of any note, Piper usually relied on punches and brawling during matches. Started wrestling prelims in Winnipeg in 1973. He has always claimed to have been a teenager at the time of his first match, but he may have been shaving some years off his real age. First big push was in Los Angeles in 1975, where Piper also wrestled as the Masked Canadian after losing a loser-leaves-town match. For a while, had a gimmick where he would hypnotize opponents in the ring. Went to Portland in 1979 and formed a lasting bond with the area and with promoter Don Owen. Made one appearance at Madison Square Garden in July 1979. In 1980, Piper won the main tag belts in both Portland and Vancouver (then co-owned by Don Owen) with Rick Martel. Moved to the Carolinas in 1980 and started to become a major star. Made his Maple Leaf Gardens debut in November 1980. Became known nationally in the U.S. through his appearances on Atlanta's WTBS superstation in the NWA's Georgia Championship Wrestling, from which he was fired for being high-maintenance outside the ring, despite helping to deliver a big increase in ratings. Jumped to the WWF in January 1984. Hosted the "Piper's Pit" interview segment on WWF TV until his 1987 retirement. Never held a title in the WWF until getting the Intercontinental belt in a 1992 comeback, winning it from The Mountie and losing it to Bret Hart. He was also the interim president of the WWF in 1996 after Jack Tunney left the company and Gorilla Monsoon was injured. Wrestled at WrestleMania that year. Jumped to WCW shortly after. Was let go in July 2000 and filed a lawsuit claiming age discrimination. His autobiography, "In the Pit with Piper: Roddy Gets Rowdy" was published in 2002. Briefly returned to WWE in 2003 and revived Piper's Pit, but he was let go after making negative comments about the wrestling business. Among the title he has held are NWA Americas champion (Los Angeles) from 1976-77, numerous time NWA Americas tag champion (Los Angeles) from 1976-78, NWA U.S. champion (San Francisco) in 1978, 4-time NWA Pacific Northwest tag champion from 1978-80, 2-time NWA Pacific Northwest champion from 1979-80, Canadian tag champion (Vancouver) with Rick Martel in 1980, 2-time NWA Mid-Atlantic TV champion in 1980 and 1983, 2-time NWA U.S. champion (Mid-Atlantic) in 1981 and 1983, NWA Mid-Atlantic champion in 1981-82, WWF Intercontinental champion in 1992 and WCW U.S. champion in 1999.
