Steve Miller

After playing around Dallas in a teenage combo that included Boz Scaggs, Steve Miller studied at the University of Wisconsin and then the University of Copenhagen before joining Chicago’s blues scene in the mid 60’s. In 1966, he moved to San Francisco and formed the Steve Miller Band and dominated the music scene for the next 15 years. Their Book of Dreams Album is still one of the bigest selling albums of all time.
