That year, their name was officially re-titled to Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers. They soon released an album in 1979 entitled Straight Ahead. It spawned a single entitled "All the Gold In California" which became one of their biggest hits together, taking the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs list in 1979.
