His real name is Kip Sop. He came to stardom in Degeneration X in The WWF. He has wrestled under the names "The One" Billy Gunn, Mr Ass, "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, Rockabilly, Billy Gunn (WWE), Kip Winchester (IWF Florida).

Billy is 12 time WWF/WWE tag team champion, 7 times with The Road Dogg Jesse James, 3 times with Bart Gunn, and twice with Chuck Palumbo. WWE Intercontinental Champion, 2 time WWE hardcore champion and the 1999 WWE King of the Ring.

Billy Gunn joined the World Wrestling Federation in May of 1993 with his brother Bart Gunn and they were a Tag Team for a few years. The Tag Team name they used was "The Smoking Gunns". These two talented athletes were a good team together. They weren't major players in the Federation when they first joined. Their mission was to become the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions, which they achieved on 3 different occasions.

On the 12/15/97 edition of RAW is WAR, Jim Ross comes up for a name for the team of the Road Dog and Billy Gunn and he calls them the New Age Outlaws as they are breaking the rules every week to hold their own. The World Wrestling Federation belts were held up in a Cage match, because Chainsaw Charlie and Cactus Jack used the illegal dumpster to win the match so the WWF stripped them of the belts and put the two teams in a cage match on RAW.

Earlier in the night, Triple H said that Shawn Michaels dropped the ball at Wrestlemania with Mike Tyson, and he brought in a Clique member, Sean Waltman(XPAC) to help Degeneration X and later that night he said that more members would be added to Degeneration X. The cage match came along, and the New Age Outlaws became the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions again with the help of Degeneration X. Triple H formed the DX army that night as the New Age Outlaws joined Degeneration X.

He is currently wrestling in TNA, teaming up with his old DX buddy The Road Dog Jesse James.
